France January trade balance -€12.9 billion vs -€14.9 billion prior

The French trade deficit reduced slightly further in January, as exports were seen down 2.2% but imports dropped further by 4.5% on the month. The latter likely owes much to the continued decline in energy imports, as has been the case since the latter stages of last year.
