Major US stock indices are opening lower as yields continue their march higher

US yields continue to move higher with the longer and outpacing the short end. The 30-year yield is up 12.4 basis points to 4.288% (the highest level since November). The 10-year is up 10.3 basis points to 4.182% (also the highest level since November).The rise in yields is helping to depress stock levels.
