Weight Watchers parent WW workforce drops again to less than half what it was pre-pandemic
WW International Inc. WW, -8.94% , also known as Weight Watchers, said in its 2022 annual report filed Tuesday that it had 7,100 employees as of Dec. 31, to mark the fourth-straight year that the wellness and weight management company has cut jobs. Meanwhile, the stock shot up 19.4% toward a one-month high in premarket trading, after the company reported late Monday fourth-quarter results and said it was buying telehealth platform Sequence for $106 million.
