BENCF / Bens Creek increases steel-making coal 105% on last year

Bens Creek Group PLC (AIM:BEN, OTC:BENCF) hailed record six-month production of steel-making coal, capped off by a new monthly high in September and reduction in costs. Roughly 205,000 tons of metallurgical coal was mined from the company's eponymous project in West Virginia, USA in the half-year to 30 September, with just under 28,000 tons in April rising to almost 43,000 in August and just over 50,000 in September.
