KUYAF / Electra Battery Materials Corp signs amendment to agreement with Kuya Silver Corp

Electra Battery Materials Corporation (TSX-V:ELBM, NASDAQ:ELBM) said it has signed an amendment to its 2021 share purchase and option agreement with Kuya Silver Corporation involving silver and cobalt exploration assets in the Canadian Cobalt Camp, which in effect means that the company is disposing non-core Canadian mineral properties while retaining royalty interest. “Our initial agreement with Kuya was designed to allow us to maximize shareholder value for our exploration assets in Ontario, given our primary focus on recommissioning North America's first cobalt sulfate refinery,” Trent Mell, Electra's CEO said in a statement.
